Last Post of 2014

This will be my last post of 2014 because next Thursday is Christmas and I will be spending those days with my wonderful family.

Wow!!! 2014 is almost in the books...a few days left in the 12th chapter.  This year has been filled with sorrow and joy.  It has had its ups and downs for sure.  But reflecting on the past months, it has been a year of many answered prayers.  It has been a year where resolutions have been fulfilled and some left exactly where they started...on a piece of paper.

But why must we wait until January to begin making goals in our lives?  Why must we wait to make things better or set our eyes on new things?  Yes, 2015 will be a new year.  It will be a new beginning but that does not mean we have to wait until January 1st to make changes in our lives.  We can start now.  We can embrace the moments we will have over the next few weeks with those that we love the most.  We can take time out of our schedule to be a blessing to others.  We can take time to reflect on this past year to see where our energy was spent.  Where we focused most of our time.

What would you do different if you could go back this year and change things?  I know that many have had the worst year of their lives and many are ready for 2015 to begin.  But this year is not over.  There are several days left to make an impact.  There are days that matter.  This year doesn't have to end like it began.  Make each day count.  Start now...not tomorrow.  Make the most of the time you have left in 2014.  Make the 12th chapter, the best chapter.   End the year with your best...not your worst.  Give it your all!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!!!
